Our Grain Of Sand
Wow I was just watching this and it made me realize, that in the order of things we are indeed living in a grain of sand called Earth. Which makes me believe more and more about the existence of life in other solar systems, I mean think about it if we are intellectual beings living here on earth and our solar system consists of a dwarf star, who is to say that the other solar systems do not have other “earths” as well? Imagine what these “earthlings” would look like, we sometimes feel as if the universe revolved around us, but after seeing this video I did come to realize that we are basically micro organisms in comparison to the rest of the universe. I can just imagine what’d we be like if we were from the planet “Rigel” (see below). It does make you wonder as to what’s really out there. Hey I’m just giving you all something to think about. Have an awesome day my felow “earthlings”
Feeling big and important?
Hmmm let’s see how high and mighty we really are in the SCALE of things, Ok so here Earth compared to Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Pluto seems like the big brother of them all doesn’t it?
Now add Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, & Jupiter, to the mix and Earth looks more like Little Brother in comparison.
Here’s is a side by side comparison of all of the planet and their central star The Sun.
Now consider this, our Sun is a dwarf star so let’s compare to larger stars like Pollux and Arcturus for example.
Or how about Betelgeuse & Antares which are are far larger stars than our huge star, can you spot the sun here? I can’t either.
Sooooo? Still feeling big and important?
Just food for thought you all.
