Our Grain Of Sand

September 7, 2009 Leave a comment

Wow I was just watching this and it made me realize, that in the order of things we are indeed living in a grain of sand called Earth. Which makes me believe more and more about the existence of life in other solar systems, I mean think about it if we are intellectual beings living here on earth and our solar system consists of a dwarf star, who is to say that the other solar systems do not have other “earths” as well? Imagine what these “earthlings” would look like, we sometimes feel as if the universe revolved around us, but after seeing this video I did come to realize that we are basically micro organisms in comparison to the rest of the universe. I can just imagine what’d we be like if we were from the planet “Rigel” (see below). It does make you wonder as to what’s really out there. Hey I’m just giving you all something to think about. Have an awesome day my felow “earthlings”

Feeling big and important?

Hmmm let’s see how high and mighty we really are in the SCALE of things, Ok so here Earth compared to Venus, Mars, Mercury, and Pluto seems like the big brother of them all doesn’t it?
Planets

Now add Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, & Jupiter, to the mix and Earth looks more like Little Brother in comparison.
Planets

Here’s is a side by side comparison of all of the planet and their central star The Sun.
Planets

Now consider this, our Sun is a dwarf star so let’s compare to larger stars like Pollux and Arcturus for example.
Planets

Or how about Betelgeuse & Antares which are are far larger stars than our huge star, can you spot the sun here? I can’t either.
Planets

Sooooo? Still feeling big and important?

Just food for thought you all.

The King Finally Rests

September 3, 2009 Leave a comment

THEE King of Pop is finally laid to rest today after 70 long days after his passing. Services took place at 7pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. 200 plus showed up to say their final goodbyes and to pay their respects and condolences to the Jackson family. Amongst the mourners were Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, Stevie Wonder, Brooke Shields and Diana Ross.
Reports say that his children, Prince Michael (12), Paris (11) & Prince Michael II(7) left a message in the coffin that read — “Daddy we love you, we miss you,” along side a white glove.
I’m personally feel that 70 days to bury a person is a bit disrespecful, but hey there might be legalities behind so, I really can’t comment too much on that, but whatever the reason(s), we can all be thankful that he is finally resting and that’s what really matter. Rest in peace dear Michael and my condolences to your loved ones.

Juarez Massacre

September 3, 2009 Leave a comment

20 people were lined up and 17 were killed at a Mexican rehab center just south of the border in Ciudad Juarez (across from El Paso), according to the reports drug lords are now targeting rehab center in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico’s most violent city. this year alone there have been 14,000 killing and they all seem to be drug related.
Man this is really sad, to think that these people were trying to rehabilitate themselves and break free from the chains of addiction, and here we have these druglords coming in to kill the execution style. I used to think this only happened abroad, but never did I imagine it’d be happening in our own backyard. My heart goes out to the families of those that lost their lives.
